Zoë Lequeux
Zoë is a graduate student in the Polymer Science and Engineering department at USM, where she studies the role of graphite oxide in polyurethane films on the absorption of microwaves. Zoë has a Bachelor's degree in engineering from Cornell University, where she also played volleyball.

Mikaela Sadri
Mikaela is a graduate student in the Polymer Science and Engineering department at USM, where she uses vitrimers to upcycle plastic waste. Mikaela has a Bachelor's degree in Plastics and Composites Engineering from Western Washington University.

Alyssa Shaw
Alyssa is a graduate student in the Polymer Science and Engineering department at USM, where she uses non-covalent interactions to generate bioactive surfaces through protein/polymer conjugation. She also studies supramolecular polymers for targeted neurodegenerative disease treatment. Alyssa has a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from USM.

Sallie Ann Schmidt
Sallie Ann is a sophomore physics major at USM. After she graduates, she wants to continue in school to pursue a PhD in computational physics.

Heather Thornhill
Heather is a junior Kinesiology major at USM and after graduation, she hopes to obtain her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

Sara Valdez
Sara is a graduate student in the Polymer Science and Engineering department at USM, where she studies polymer conformations at the single-molecule level via microscopy. Sara has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.

Outreach Coordinator
Margaret Brune
Margaret is a sophomore Physics (non-licensure) major with Math and Biology minors at USM. She plans on pursuing a PhD in Astrophysics or Astrobiology after graduation and she is interested in the search for Earth-like exoplanets.
